Job Description

Benny Media LLC is seeking a highly online, fast-thinking Situation Monitor to join our digital operations team in Tampa, Florida. This role is responsible for real-time monitoring of breaking news, viral content, and online discourse—especially on X (Twitter)—and translating it into high-performing posts seen by millions daily.

Our content ecosystem moves at the speed of the internet. The ideal candidate is deeply embedded in the news cycle, understands what captures attention, and can quickly identify, contextualize, and publish content that resonates with a large, politically engaged audience. This is a high-intensity, always-on role that requires sharp instincts, strong writing ability, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes media environment.

If you live online, instinctively know what matters before it trends, and can execute quickly without sacrificing accuracy or tone, we want to hear from you.

Experience & Requirements
  • Experience monitoring news and social media platforms in real time
  • Deep familiarity with X/Twitter and online discourse
  • Ability to quickly identify relevant or viral stories
  • Strong reading and writing skills
  • Ability to summarize information clearly and concisely
  • Functional understanding of AI tools and prompt usage
  • Ability to create basic video clips for social media
  • Basic video editing and captioning skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple developing stories at once
  • Strong judgment in identifying important information
  • Ability to implement direction and feedback from management
  • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes a healthy work environment
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
